Celebrating Nationex’s Sustainable Delivery Revolution: A Leap Towards a Greener Future

Nationex launches electric delivery zones in Quebec with 41 BrightDrop vans, leading the charge in sustainable, eco-friendly logistics.

In the realm of logistics and parcel delivery, Nationex has been a name synonymous with reliability and innovation since its founding in 1980. Recently, this reputable carrier partner of Inex has taken a significant leap forward, announcing a groundbreaking initiative that sets a new standard in sustainable delivery.

Nationex, a Leading Force in SustainableLogistics

Nationex’s logo isn’t the only thing that’s green — The recent unveiling of Nationex’s new brand image, marked by the deployment of new all electric BrightDrop trucks, signals a major commitment in the company’s approach to environmental sustainability. This transformation was showcased at the “Hop! Le Sommet du commerce de détail 2023” event, organized by the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail (CQCD), where Nationex’s Director of Sustainable Development, Clément Sabourin, shared insights on sustainable delivery alongside other industry leaders.

A Step Towards Decarbonized Delivery

In a landmark announcement covered by La Presse, Nationex revealed the launch of 10 fully electric delivery zones in Quebec, set to be operational before the end of November. This strategic move is supported by the acquisition of 41 BrightDrop electric vans, demonstrating Nationex’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions in the logistics sector.

Electric Delivery: A New Standard

Beginning October 26th, Nationex started electrifying delivery in Montreal, with plans to rapidly expand to Laval and parts of the Rive-Sud. By the end of November, in anticipation of Black Friday, this service will encompass 10 major cities and regions in Quebec, including Quebec City, Gatineau/Ottawa, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières, Saint-Hyacinthe, and Saguenay. This expansion means that nearly two-thirds of Quebec’s population will have access to eco-friendly parcel delivery.

A Pioneer in ElectricFleet Integration

This initiative is a part of Nationex’s broader strategy to integrate electric vehicles into its delivery operations. The addition of BrightDrop vans, a subsidiary created by GM in 2021, complements the existing fleet of Courant Plus, an exclusively electric delivery firm acquired by Nationex last September.

Inex’s Commitment to Sustainability

As Inex continues to collaborate with forward-thinking partners like Nationex, we reinforce our dedication to sustainability in logistics. Nationex’s strides in eco-friendly delivery solutions align perfectly with Inex’s mission to provide environmentally responsible and efficient logistics services.

Looking Ahead

This transformative move by Nationex isn’t just a win for the environment; it’s a testament to the evolving landscape of logistics, where sustainability is increasingly becoming a cornerstone. Inex is proud to support and celebrate these advancements, heralding a new era of green logistics.
